  1. Log out of PlayStation App if you’re using it.
  2. Reset the PSN Account Password.
  3. If possible log out of the PS Console too.
  4. And after resetting the account password, try signing back with the new password. See if it helps.

Check PlayStation Server Status Page

Sometimes the Servers of PSN are down and due to the same, some of the functionalities don’t work and you’ll constantly receive different errors. And in such cases, there is nothing you can do it about unless waiting for a problem to be resolved from their end. Visit the PlayStation Network Server Status Page and verify it.

Try Automatic Login

When Automatic Login is enabled on PS5, it will directly boot up to the home screen and won’t ask you to enter the PSN credentials, meaning, you won’t have to deal with PS5 Sign In Error Codes.

  1. Open the Settings on PS5.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Select Login Settings.
  4. Turn On Log In to PS5 Automatically.

Update PS5

  1. Turn On PS5.
  2. Go to the Settings on PS5.
  3. Select System.
  4. Choose System Software Update and Settings.
  5. Select Update System Software. Wait for a few moments, if any pending update is available, it’ll automatically start to download.

Change DNS

Connection issues can also be responsible behind the Account Sign In, as if PSN detects any suspicious login activity, it won’t let you sign in, therefore set the DNS manually to Google DNS.

  1. Open Settings on PS5.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Then select Set Up Internet Connection.
  5. Choose the network.
  6. Go with Advanced Settings > DNS Settings.
  7. Select Manual.
  8. Enter Primary: 8.8.8 and Secondary: 8.8.4.4.

Reset PS5 To Factory Settings

Last but not the least, if still, you can’t sign in to the PSN Account on PS5, wipe out all the data on PS5 Console. Doing this will delete all the saved games and data from the PS5.

  1. Go to the Settings on PS5.
  2. Select System.
  3. Choose System Software.
  4. Select Reset
  5. Select Reset Your Console.
  6. Go with Reset.
