Select AirPods as Audio Device

Despite the AirPods are paired, we can switch back to Audio Output to iPhone from AirPods. If that’s the case, and Audio Output is selected as a iPhone, AirPods won’t play on iPhone 14. First of all, make sure the AirPods are set to deliver the Audio.

  1. Bring the Control Center on the screen.
  2. Long press the Audio Card.
  3. Tap on the Audio Output button and select AirPods.

Update iPhone

Disable/Enable Bluetooth

Wireless devices will never be perfect, especially the Bluetooth connections. Since the AirPods uses Bluetooth connectivity to pair with iPhone, AirPods keep disconnecting can happen. Don’t worry, disabling and re-enabling the Bluetooth will resolve the system glitches.

From the Control Center, tap on Bluetooth to disable it. Restart the iPhone and enable the Bluetooth.
