Restart Your Samsung Device

Verify the Instagram Permission

Verify the Notification Settings In Instagram

  • Navigate to Settings in the Instagram application.
  • Go to Notification.
  • Search and hit Pause All Settings and ensure that Pause all settings is turned off.

Clear Cache

  • Go to Settings.

  • Touch Clear Cache.

Disable Power Saving Mode And Data Saver

Samsung comes with battery-saving modes that prevent the device from sudden draining of battery. When it’s enabled the application doesn’t get refreshed regularly, so that can be a reason for Instagram notification not working on Samsung.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Hit Battery And Device Care.
  • Touch Battery.
  • Select Power Saving Mode.
  • Tap Toggle next to power saving mode to disable.

Update Phone

Same as outdated app the outdated device can also create such type of issue. It’s better to verify the availability of updates in Settings.

Reset All Settings

Resetting all the settings bring back the device to its original form without clearing the stored data in the device. Any modification you have made in the settings will be discarded.

  • Access the App Tray.
  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select Backup And Reset.
  • Hit Reset Settings.
  • Tap RESET SETTINGS.
  • Touch RESET.
