Trick 1: Samsung Cloud and Trash

  • Access the App Tray.
  • Navigate to Gallery.
  • Hit Gallery Icon.
  • Touch Three Vertical Dots.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap ‘Sync with Samsung Cloud’.
  • Enable the Sync by clicking the toggle.
  • In the same menu, you will find the option “Trash”. It will store all your deleted data for 15 days.

Note: if you clear media from the file app, the Samsung cloud won’t retrieve that.

  • Enable the Trash by clicking the toggle.

All the deleted data will be visible in the trash for a maximum of 15 days, after that the images will be permanently deleted from the device.

Trick 2: Run Android Data Recovery

  • Download Android Data Recovery on your PC, and connect your Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus to your PC.
  • It will detect your device as soon as you initiate the program.
  • Turn ON USB Debugging.
  • Then select the desired file categories you want to retrieve to scan on your Samsung Galaxy S20, S20Plus.
  • Lastly, after the completion of scanning, the images will be visible on your device.
  • Now select the desired images and tap Recover Lost Photos from S20, S20Plus.

All the deleted data will be visible in the trash for a maximum of 15 days, after that the images will be permanently deleted from the device.

Trick 3: Google Photos and ES File Explorer File Manager

Google Photos, is a photo-sharing app that works as a storage app. The images that are cleared from your Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus are visible in the trash of Google photos for a maximum of 60 days. It is more than the Samsung cloud offers. You can retrieve clear images from Trash of Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus.
