There’s no person in this world who can survive without installing third-party applications from Google Play or any App Store, and sometimes these third-party apps are real culprits eating the processor and affecting the performance of the device. To overcome and get clarity, I’d suggest booting the phone in Safe Mode. Doing this will disable all the third-party applications and you’ll be able to use only first-party applications like Phone App, Messages App, etc.
If in Safe Mode the device responds correctly, then you should start removing the recently installed third-party applications and observe the device.

- Touch and hold the Power Off button.
- Select Safe Mode.
- To exit Safe Mode, restart the phone.
