One of the most annoying but advantageous features is Emergency Call, whether you have OnePlus or any other Android phone, it will be enabled by default. However, I don’t understand why people find this feature useless, but then when I was using my OnePlus 7 Pro. I actually end up finding the solution of how to disable the emergency call feature on OnePlus 7 Pro. Technically emergency rescue is very supportive when you have an extreme emergency situation and don’t know how to deal with it. At that time if an emergency rescue is enabled on your phone then by simply pressing Power button 3 to 5 times you can call the emergency team at your location.
Besides, people keep asking us that, is it possible to dial the emergency number without SIM card on the phone? The answer is YES, it is possible to make emergency calls even if you don’t have a SIM card inserted. But it works with only one condition; the emergency number should be of your country and must be a valid number.
Since if you don’t like the emergency rescue feature on OnePlus devices, then here’s the way out to Disable Emergency Rescue Feature on OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7.
- Open the Settings app on your OnePlus device.
- Swipe down and tap Security & lock screen.
- Go to the Emergency Rescue.
- Tap Emergency information.
- Select Disable.
Note: If you want to go for the other two options that suit you, then tap on it and get back to the home screen. I would recommend you to enable Quickly Press Power Button for 5 Times, to make emergency calls. Because rarely it happens when accidentally Power button gets pressed 5 times in a line. This is how you can avoid the annoying emergency call feature along with your safety.
