By default, Quick Share comes enabled, and there’s no need to go anywhere to send files over Quick Share. However, to receive files, there are some settings that you might need to check.
Starting with the basics, in this section, we’ll show you how to Quick Share on Samsung Phone/Tablet to other Samsung Phone/Tablet.
- Go to the Gallery App in your phone.
- Navigate to the Image/Video that you wish to share over Quick Share.
- Long press the Image/Videos and tap on the Share icon.
- Find and select Quick Share. There you can also choose to Remove location data or keep, as per your preference.
- Select the device that appears under “Share to nearby Galaxy devices” to initiate Quick Share.
- Likewise, you can share any File via Quick Share.
Can’t Receive Files from Quick Share in Samsung? How to Receive Files via Quick Share on Samsung?
There’s a small catch, to share data using Quick Share, we don’t need any additional procedure to follow, however, Samsung allows us to control whether we want to receive files from other Samsung phone via Quick Share or not. Otherwise, anyone can sent transfer request and might annoy you.
- Open the Settings app.
- Swipe down to Advanced features.
- Select Quick Share.
- Under Nearby sharing, select from NO ONE, CONTACTS ONLY or ANYONE NEARBY. To receive the files via Quick Share, you can choose between Contacts Only or Anyone Nearby.
