  1. Launch the Samsung Wearable App.
  2. Tap Watch settings.
  3. Select Watch software update.
  4. If Samsung Watch shows the Home tab, swipe to and hit Watch software update or Band software update.
  5. Select Download and install.
  6. Wait until the software update is downloaded and installed.

Factory Reset Watch

Last but not the least, factory reset the Watch. Nobody wants to factory reset the watch, but with the current situation, you don’t have any option.

  1. Hold down the Power button until Rebooting text shows up and release the buttons.
  2. Keep pressing the Power button until the Select reboot mode option comes up on the screen.
  3. Navigate to the Recover option using the same Power button.
  4. When you reach to the Recover, press and hold the Power button until the Galaxy Watch reboots.

If your Samsung Watch 5 won’t turn on after swimming, rinse it in freshwater. Since the Sea or Swimming Pool’s water has chlorinated water is corrosive and could cover the machinery of a watch. If that doesn’t work, then put the Samsung Watch 5 in a rice bag for 2-3 days to dry out.
