Although the Google maps have been improved on the iOS devices, even though after the installation of Siri the Google maps don’t feature great working compared to the Apple Maps. We encountered this, as lots of users experience Google Maps timeline not working on iPhone, Google maps voice not working on iPhone 13, Google maps location wrong on iPhone 13 mini, and many more. There are many feasible reasons behind this problem such as network-related issues, or software-related problems. So continue to read to fix such a common problem on iPhone 13 pro. But before performing the mentioned workaround we suggest verifying that you have allowed the permission to Google Map.

Verify Mobile Data

Always remember that network based applications like Google maps need a constant and stable internet connection to work accurately. Therefore until and unless you are not using offline maps, ensure that your iOS device internet is working accurately. So it’s suggested to verify before going through any below-mentioned workaround to fix google maps not working iPhone 13. To verify your device’s internet connection, look at the other alternative device networks. Because there are chances, on the location you are present doesn’t have a proper network. Check Google Play Service

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Hit Privacy > Location Services.
  • Lastly, tap on the toggle next to the Location service, if it’s disabled.

Allow the Google Map to Run In the Background

If that’s the case then you are disallowing the Google map to refresh the real-time data. But no worries! You can fix it by allowing the Google Map to run in the background by performing the below-mentioned steps.

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Hit General > Background App Refresh.
  • Verify the green toggle next to the Google Map is turned green, if not so simply tap on the toggle.

Update the Google App

Using the older version of Google Application is always the biggest issue, and might cause varieties of Google map problems. So if your device has an older version of the Google app, then simply update the application as soon as possible. To do so, move forward to an apple store and update the application if available.

Reinstall Google Maps
